This week will bring together users, judges, arbitrators, academics and other dispute resolution professionals from around the world to celebrate the unique heritage of English law, and the future of dispute resolution globally. Due to the diverse nature of the week it is not possible for us to provide an overall list of registrants.
For most events throughout the week the dress code will be smart business attire. However, please note that dress code for the Gala Dinner is black tie and that coloured shirts and coloured ties should not be worn with Dinner Jackets.

Some of the events take place at historic sites across the City of London. This includes the Drinks Reception at Banking Hall, a grade II listed building in central London, the Flagship conference at the National Gallery, an art museum in Trafalgar Square that houses a collection of over 2,300 paintings, and the Gala Dinner at Mansion house, which is the official residence of the Lord Mayor of London.
Wi-Fi will be available at the discretion of the session host. Please view each individual event profile for further details.
All conferences will be held in English and there will be no translation services provided.
There are no current plans to stream the sessions.
Materials from throughout the week will be distributed at the discretion of the session provider.
The Flagship conference on Wednesday, 8th May will have refreshments provided throughout. For all other events it will be at the discretion of the session provider as to what is being offered. Please check each individual event profile to find out more.
There will be a £100 (+VAT) fee to access the registration site. At this point you can select which events you would like to attend, all of which are offered on a first come first served basis, and then proceed to checkout. Many of these will be complimentary but there will be an additional charge for some of the LIDW-associated events and dinners during the week. For further details on pricing please visit each individual event profile.
Yes, there will be an option to select this at checkout and once the order is confirmed an invoice will be automatically generated.
The initial fee of £100 (+VAT) is non-refundable, unless due to over-subscription you do not receive a confirmed place at one (minimum) of the LIDW sessions you select. If you are no longer able to attend the week in general, you can transfer the initial registration to someone else within the same organisation. Fees for the flagship conference and other charged LIDW-associated events will have their own policy regarding cancellation, which can be viewed on their event profile’s. webpage.
The £100 (+VAT) is a registration fee that once paid allows you to be able to indicate which of the LIDW sessions you’d like to attend. Additional fees are payable to attend the flagship conference and some other LIDW-associated events—these are marked with a £ sign in the programme section.
No, you cannot share your pass with anyone else. However, if for some reason you are no longer able to make the whole week we are happy to transfer the entire registration to someone else from the same organisation.
There is no explicit deadline for the events however capacity is limited and tickets will be offered on a first come first served basis. We are expecting a high demand so would recommend registering as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
